Combine DAO Labor Exchange launching Q1 2023

Combine DAO will be opening the door of its first service in the United States in Q1 2023. The Labor Exchange (LEX) will use Combine's Smart Legal Contracts to help individuals, organizations, and businesses of all kinds establish employment agreements and contracts in the United States.

Labor Exchange Contracts

Labor Exchange contracts are legally-binding contracts using natural language to clearly establish agreements. Underneath the hood, each LEX contract uses software-defined models to facilitate automation and programmable logic. LEX contracts connect to to Combine's automation and payment gateways to allow for contracts to leverage conditional logic, opening the door for new scenarios by individuals, organizations, and businesses of all kinds.

Instead of leaning on manual processes and procedures, Combine Members can rely on Combine to automate away administration for things like contract enforcement and payment.

Our first LEX contract will be delivering the ability to establish 1099 Contractor relationships. The US 1099 LEX contract will support reusable legal clauses, payment automation, and much more. Each Combine Member will have access to create new 1099 Opportunities, respond to 1099 Opportunities with Proposals, and enter a Negotiation with one another to iron out the details of their agreement.

LEX Pricing

Combine DAO is committed to ensuring its services are affordable for everyone. We have tentatively established our initial price model.

There will be no up-front or hidden costs to using LEX. Instead, LEX will charge a flat 0.2% of payments that are agreed upon. In other words, for every $100, LEX charges $00.20.
